Future Makers is a carefully curated programme designed to bring together curious minds through meaningful conversations, inspiring encounters and authentic cultural experiences in and around Marrakesh.
The following Booking & Participation Terms are intended to provide clarity about the programme and help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

1. About the Programme
Future Makers of Marrakesh is organised by ABURY Impact Lab GmbH.
The programme consists of curated visits, conversations, workshops, shared meals and cultural experiences taking place in and around Marrakesh.
The programme is limited to a minimum of six and a maximum of twelve participants to ensure a personal and engaging experience.
Participation relates exclusively to the programme itself. Flights, accommodation and other travel services are arranged independently by each participant and are not part of the agreement with ABURY Impact Lab GmbH.
2. Programme Fee
The programme fee and the services included are outlined in your booking confirmation.
Unless otherwise stated, the programme fee includes all activities, local transportation during the programme, airport transfers, entrance fees where applicable, and the meals specified in the itinerary.
Flights, accommodation, tipps, travel insurance, visas (where applicable), personal expenses and any services not expressly listed are not included.
3. Booking & Payment
Your booking is confirmed once:
● your booking request has been accepted,
● your Participant Information Form has been completed,
● these Booking & Participation Terms have been accepted, and
● the 50% deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is due four weeks before the programme begins.
All payments are made in EUR by bank transfer to the account details provided in your booking confirmation, unless otherwise agreed in writing. If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
4. Cancellation by the Participant
We understand that plans can change.
Because Future Makers is intentionally limited to a very small group and significant commitments are made well in advance with local partners, speakers and venues, the following cancellation terms apply:
● More than 60 days before the programme: the deposit is fully refundable.
● Between 60 and 30 days before the programme: the deposit is non-refundable.
● 30 days or less before the programme begins: 100% of the programme fee is payable.
Participants may nominate a replacement participant, subject to prior approval by ABURY Impact Lab GmbH.
We strongly recommend purchasing both travel insurance and trip cancellation insurance.
5. Changes or Cancellation by the Organiser
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the programme where necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, including the unavailability of speakers, weather conditions or local circumstances.
If the minimum number of six participants is not reached, we may cancel the programme. In this case, we will inform you no later than 42 days before the programme begins, and any payments already made will be refunded in full.
If the programme cannot take place due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes or other events of force majeure, we will inform participants as soon as reasonably possible.
In such circumstances, our liability is limited to the reimbursement of payments received for the programme, less any non-recoverable costs where permitted by applicable law. We are not responsible for costs incurred by participants relating to flights, accommodation or other third-party services.
6. Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer booking within the European Union, you may generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply here pursuant to Section 312g (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), as the ABURY Impact Lab GmbH undertakes to provide the travel service within a specific period (5.-9. November 2026). Please see cancellation policy above.
7. Participation
Future Makers is built on openness, curiosity and mutual respect.
Participants are expected to contribute positively to the group experience and to respect fellow participants, local hosts and the communities we visit.
We reserve the right to exclude any participant whose behaviour seriously affects the safety, wellbeing or experience of others. In such cases no refund will be provided.
Alcohol may occasionally be served during shared meals. Participants are expected to consume alcohol responsibly throughout the programme.
8. Health & Insurance
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are fit to participate in the programme and for arranging appropriate travel and health insurance.
Any dietary requirements, allergies or medical information relevant to the programme should be shared in advance.
9. Photography
Photography and filming may take place during the programme.
Any use of images for Future Makers communications will respect the preferences indicated by participants during registration.
10. Intellectual Property
Future Makers brings together founders, speakers and private hosts who generously share their time, ideas and spaces with the group. Presentations, workshop materials and other content shared during the programme are intended for participants' personal use only.
Unless explicit permission has been given, such content may not be recorded, reproduced, published or shared, whether in full or in part. This is intended to protect our speakers and hosts, and to preserve the intimate, trust-based nature of the programme.
11. Confidentiality — the Chatham House Spirit
We encourage open and honest conversations throughout the programme.
Participants are welcome to share ideas and insights afterwards, but we ask that personal stories, confidential discussions and comments made by fellow participants or speakers are treated with discretion, unless explicit permission has been given to share them.
This spirit of trust is what allows Future Makers to be a space for genuinely open exchange — and we ask every participant to help protect it.
12. Privacy
Personal information is collected solely for the purpose of organising and delivering the programme and will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
13. Liability
ABURY Impact Lab GmbH organises the programme with care and selects partners, venues and activities to the best of its knowledge. However, individual programme elements — such as excursions, workshops or activities — may be delivered by third parties, over whom we have limited control.
Our liability for damages is limited to cases of intent and gross negligence, and to the foreseeable, typical damage arising from a breach of a material contractual obligation, except where mandatory statutory liability (for example for injury to life, body or health) applies.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Booking & Participation Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions.
To the extent legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms is Berlin, Germany.

1. Über das Programm
Future Makers of Marrakesh wird von der ABURY Impact Lab GmbH veranstaltet.
Das Programm umfasst kuratierte Besuche, Gespräche, Workshops, gemeinsame Mahlzeiten und kulturelle Erlebnisse in und um Marrakesch.
Das Programm ist auf mindestens sechs und höchstens zwölf Teilnehmende begrenzt, um ein persönliches und intensives Erlebnis zu gewährleisten.
Die Teilnahme bezieht sich ausschließlich auf das Programm selbst. Flüge, Unterkunft und andere Reiseleistungen werden von jedem Teilnehmenden eigenständig organisiert und sind nicht Teil der Vereinbarung mit der ABURY Impact Lab GmbH.
2. Programmgebühr
Die Programmgebühr und die enthaltenen Leistungen sind in deiner Buchungsbestätigung aufgeführt.
Sofern nicht anders angegeben, umfasst die Programmgebühr alle Aktivitäten, lokale Transporte während des Programms, Flughafentransfers, Eintrittsgelder sowie die im Reiseplan genannten Mahlzeiten.
Flüge, Unterkunft, Reiseversicherung, Visa (sofern erforderlich), Tipps, persönliche Ausgaben sowie alle nicht ausdrücklich aufgeführten Leistungen sind nicht enthalten.
3. Buchung und Zahlung
Deine Buchung ist bestätigt, sobald:
● deine Buchungsanfrage angenommen wurde,
● dein Teilnehmer-Informationsformular vollständig ausgefüllt ist,
● diese Buchungs- und Teilnahmebedingungen akzeptiert wurden und
● die Anzahlung in Höhe von 50 % eingegangen ist.
Der Restbetrag ist vier Wochen vor Programmbeginn fällig.
Alle Zahlungen erfolgen in EUR per Banküberweisung auf das in deiner Buchungsbestätigung angegebene Konto, sofern nicht schriftlich anders vereinbart.
Geht die Zahlung nicht fristgerecht ein, behalten wir uns das Recht vor, die Buchung zu stornieren.
4. Stornierung durch den Teilnehmenden
Wir wissen, dass sich Pläne ändern können.
Da Future Makers bewusst auf eine sehr kleine Gruppe begrenzt ist und wesentliche Verpflichtungen frühzeitig gegenüber lokalen Partnern, Speakern und Locations eingegangen werden, gelten folgende Stornierungsbedingungen:
● Mehr als 60 Tage vor Programmbeginn: Die Anzahlung ist rückerstattbar.
● Weniger als 60 bis 30 Tage vor Programmbeginn: Die Anzahlung ist nicht rückerstattbar.
● 30 Tage oder weniger vor Programmbeginn: Die gesamte Programmgebühr ist fällig.
Teilnehmende können eine Ersatzperson benennen, vorbehaltlich vorheriger Zustimmung durch die ABURY Impact Lab GmbH.
Wir empfehlen dringend den Abschluss einer Reise- sowie einer Reiserücktrittsversicherung.
5. Änderungen oder Absage durch die Veranstalterin
Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, angemessene Änderungen am Programm vorzunehmen, sofern dies aufgrund von Umständen außerhalb unserer Kontrolle erforderlich ist – etwa bei Ausfall von Speakern, Wetterbedingungen oder lokalen Gegebenheiten.
Wird die Mindestteilnehmerzahl von sechs Personen nicht erreicht, können wir das Programm absagen. In diesem Fall informieren wir dich spätestens 42 Tage vor Programmbeginn, und bereits geleistete Zahlungen werden vollständig erstattet.
Kann das Programm aufgrund von Umständen nicht stattfinden, die außerhalb unserer zumutbaren Kontrolle liegen – einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf Naturkatastrophen, Krieg, innere Unruhen, behördliche Beschränkungen, Pandemien, Streiks oder andere Fälle höherer Gewalt –, informieren wir die Teilnehmenden so schnell wie möglich.
In solchen Fällen beschränkt sich unsere Haftung auf die Rückerstattung bereits erhaltener Zahlungen für das Programm, abzüglich nicht erstattungsfähiger Kosten, soweit gesetzlich zulässig. Wir übernehmen keine Verantwortung für Kosten, die die Teilnehmenden im Zusammenhang mit Flügen, Unterkunft oder anderen Leistungen Dritter entstehen.
6. Widerrufsrecht
Wenn du als Verbraucher:in innerhalb der Europäischen Union buchst, steht dir grundsätzlich ein gesetzliches Widerrufsrecht von 14 Tagen ohne Angabe von Gründen zu. Ein gesetzliches Widerrufsrecht für Fernabsatzverträge besteht gemäß § 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB hier allerdings nicht, da die ABURY Impact Lab GmbH eine Reiseleistung für einen festgelegten Zeitraum (5.–9. November 2026) erbringt. Es gelten die oben aufgeführten Stornierungsbedingungen.
7. Teilnahme
Future Makers basiert auf Offenheit, Neugier und gegenseitigem Respekt.
Teilnehmende werden gebeten, aktiv zu einer positiven Gruppenerfahrung beizutragen und Mitreisende, lokale Gastgeber:innen sowie die besuchten Gemeinschaften zu respektieren.
Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, Teilnehmende auszuschließen, deren Verhalten die Sicherheit, das Wohlbefinden oder die Erfahrung anderer erheblich beeinträchtigt. In solchen Fällen erfolgt keine Rückerstattung.
Bei gemeinsamen Mahlzeiten kann gelegentlich Alkohol ausgeschenkt werden. Teilnehmende werden gebeten, während des gesamten Programms verantwortungsvoll mit Alkohol umzugehen.
8. Gesundheit und Versicherung
Teilnehmende sind selbst dafür verantwortlich, sicherzustellen, dass sie zur Teilnahme am Programm gesundheitlich in der Lage sind, und eine geeignete Reise- und Krankenversicherung abschließen.
Besondere Ernährungsbedürfnisse, Allergien oder für das Programm relevante medizinische Informationen sollten im Vorfeld mitgeteilt werden.
9. Fotografie
Während des Programms können Fotos und Filmaufnahmen entstehen.
Die Verwendung von Bildmaterial für die Kommunikation von Future Makers erfolgt unter Berücksichtigung der bei der Anmeldung angegebenen Präferenzen der Teilnehmenden.
10. Geistiges Eigentum
Future Makers bringt Gründer:innen, Speaker und private Gastgeber:innen zusammen, die großzügig ihre Zeit, Ideen und Räume mit der Gruppe teilen. Präsentationen, Workshop-Materialien und andere während des Programms geteilte Inhalte sind ausschließlich für den persönlichen Gebrauch der Teilnehmenden bestimmt.
Ohne ausdrückliche Erlaubnis dürfen solche Inhalte weder aufgezeichnet, vervielfältigt, veröffentlicht noch geteilt werden – weder vollständig noch in Auszügen. Dies dient dem Schutz unserer Speaker und Gastgeber:innen sowie dem Erhalt des vertraulichen, vertrauensbasierten Charakters des Programms.
11. Vertraulichkeit – der Chatham-House-Spirit
Wir ermutigen zu offenen und ehrlichen Gesprächen während des gesamten Programms.
Teilnehmende dürfen Ideen und Erkenntnisse im Nachhinein gerne teilen. Wir bitten jedoch darum, persönliche Geschichten, vertrauliche Gespräche und Kommentare von Mitreisenden oder Speakern mit Diskretion zu behandeln, sofern keine ausdrückliche Erlaubnis zur Weitergabe erteilt wurde.
Dieser Geist des Vertrauens macht Future Makers zu einem Raum für wirklich offenen Austausch – und wir bitten jede:n Teilnehmende:n, dazu beizutragen, ihn zu bewahren.
12. Datenschutz
Personenbezogene Daten werden ausschließlich zum Zweck der Organisation und Durchführung des Programms erhoben und gemäß den geltenden Datenschutzgesetzen verarbeitet.
13. Haftung
Die ABURY Impact Lab GmbH organisiert das Programm mit größter Sorgfalt und wählt Partner, Locations und Aktivitäten nach bestem Wissen aus. Einzelne Programmelemente – etwa Ausflüge, Workshops oder Aktivitäten – können jedoch von Dritten durchgeführt werden, auf die wir nur begrenzten Einfluss haben.
Unsere Haftung für Schäden beschränkt sich auf Fälle von Vorsatz und grober Fahrlässigkeit sowie auf den vorhersehbaren, vertragstypischen Schaden bei Verletzung einer wesentlichen Vertragspflicht, soweit nicht die zwingende gesetzliche Haftung greift, etwa bei Verletzung von Leben, Körper oder Gesundheit.
14. Anwendbares Recht und Gerichtsstand
Diese Buchungs- und Teilnahmebedingungen unterliegen dem Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland unter Ausschluss des Kollisionsrechts.
Soweit gesetzlich zulässig, ist Gerichtsstand für alle Streitigkeiten aus oder im Zusammenhang mit diesen Bedingungen Berlin, Deutschland.
